The first step of this idea is to create a huge database of people's faces, and then have a computer sort through them and determine the "average" among all of these faces. It would be interesting to see what the statistical average would be for all human beings, or people from specific countries (USA, Australia, etc.)
After it does that, it compares your face to the average, and determines in what way your face differs from that. It would then double the differences (or even triple them) to create a version of yourself that is "more you than you" so to speak. You could get a sense of how other people see you, as well.-- VeXaR, Jun 22 2001 (?) [jutta, Feb 07 2007] All the links are just averages. It could be quite fun having software or a website that can create a caracature of you as VeXaR suggests. Might need some input as to interests, temperament, etc - the stuff a cricature artist uses in their work.-- jetckalz, Jun 22 2001 Excellent!
