While my wife and I were on our way to dinner last night, I was trying to describe to her a new algorithm I was developing to generate ASCII art. Before I could finish telling her about the novel use of least squares regression, she stopped me short and gave me this idea to post on Half Bakery.

I would be happy to present my number. Unfortunately while I'm a nerd I'm neither particularly bright nor particularly well educated so I wouldn't be helpful. Also there is the matter of specialties. Sometimes a math nerd is needed, sometimes a computer nerd, sometimes a comic book nerd.
