Bump and Pump Bicycle   (+3, -1)  [vote for, against]
grind seat and store air

Instead of carrying a pump, (which can get lost or stolen) this new bicycle uses the tubular frame as storage for pressurised air, which the rider generates as they move along.

This is possible because the frame gets continuously filled due to the support for the saddle acting as a pump, with each tiny bump encountered adding more pressure to the contents of the frame.

To inflated a soft or flat tyre, all you need do is extend the long tube connector that's permanently attached to the frame; turn the special unlocking key, and deliver the air required via its flexible end valve.

(??) Self inflating innertube positive pressure,...mpty into the tire.

um, could you make a valve, or two valves, or a tesla valve next to a regular valve where the bumps caused positive pressure, above tire pressure, to accumulate in a reservoir and then have the higher pressure reservoir empty into the tire. That would keep the tire topped up with bump-based pressure fluctuations.

I did something along those lines <link>

Dat link don't work.

While I am here, couldn't you fill the frame with sparkling wine?

Most sparkling soft drinks seem to have something acidic in them, so the perfect alibi for using sparkling plonk, Offissher (hic)
