On holiday in Spain last year, the natives not only failed to understand my ravings but got quite angry as well, especially when I drank so many cervezas that all I could manage to say was "AY AY AY" in true Bumblebee Man style. He did get his own "show" in a spin-off Simpsons episode once, as I remember it climaxed with his house being reduced to rubble.
