Caps have peaks. A general obvservation is that they are vaguely boomerang shaped. I'm sure that the peak of a cap could be adapted to the shape of a working boomerang, which you can detach and throw. Why? Why not? At least you wouldn't have to carry the boomerang around. Although when you're throwing it, there'd be less eye protection from the sun, which could cause a glare problem when catching, but aside from that, I see no reason why it wouldn't work.-- quaero curvus, Aug 13 2005 A cap has a peak? Is that the same as a bill? If so, then yes, there is a slight resemblance, isn't there? Might work...although, I was once hit in the eye by a boomerang, so the lack of eye protection has me worried.-- ldischler, Aug 14 2005 twin peaks. one to throw and one to protect.-- po, Aug 14 2005 Peak around the corner...-- Ling, Aug 15 2005 random, halfbakery
