I have been toying around with the idea for an extremely slow aircraft for small rooms that: A small child could fly (Ling?); Has normal r.c. aircraft principles.
Most available designs tend to fly at about a fast walking pace which is too fast for flying up the stairs and in small rooms.
To slow down the flight, I think the body and wings should be inflated and lighter than air, but the total aircraft should be slightly heavier than air. Then a slow forwards movement would be enough to produce lift.
Finally, I suppose the design is similar to having a streamlined blimp with wings.-- Ling, Jan 20 2006 (?) Same concept, different scale http://www.dynalifter.com/Old/Default.htmMaybe you can talk these guys into marketing it. (though possibly predating it).-- FlyingToaster, Dec 11 2012 random, halfbakery
