I need to wash fewer shirts in winter because I wear a t-shirt. Unless I perspire excessively I can wear the upper shirt again. More if I have a cold and cant smell test effectively. This effect could be enhanced with some silver ions (see a product called Agion) embedded in the arm pit areas. Your regular shirt should have this as well of course. Now during summer a mesh t-shirt or finer fabric undershirt will allow you to stay cool. Thin white t-shirts take less space, dont need ironing, dry faster, and if wrinkled no one sees. Helps the environment but since we might destroy that anyway the bigger benefit is that it would significantly reduce laundry days so you can enjoy what environment remains.-- Widgit, Apr 11 2005 To summarize: let's all wear T-shirts under our shirts.-- moomintroll, Apr 11 2005 Congrats, you've invented the undershirt, which is where T-shirts basically came from.-- RayfordSteele, Apr 11 2005 What? I've just been draping animal pelts over myself. What's all this 'shirt' business?
We're still communicating by urine, though, right?-- Detly, Apr 12 2005 It's not stained, it's tie dyed.-- 2 fries shy of a happy meal, Apr 12 2005 You could just stay indoors and reduce the laundry days even further.-- biff, Aug 08 2006 random, halfbakery
