Automatic Bird Costume For Squirrels At The Bird Feeder   (+3)  [vote for, against]
For the squirrel to get to the feeder, it need to push through a automatic bird costume dresser.

Simple enough, just a bird costume that as the squirrel passes through it to the bird seed, it closes around it temporarily, then when it backs out it resets for the next seed thief. Picture a nurse holding up a robe for the patient and the patient walking into it.

If they're gonna eat bird seed, they gotta do the job of looking like a bird. Everybody wins.

Here's what it would look like. https://www.dropbox...c6&st=vl9hczad&dl=0
The mechanism that does it isn't clear but you get the idea. [doctorremulac3, Nov 07 2024]

I like the idea but wonder if there's a better category this could go in.

Open to suggestions, I was kind of stuck.

I think:
Food: Restaurant: Animal

But here are some runners-up:
Food: Restaurant: Theme
Food: Vending Machine
Food: Packaging: Seeds
Business: Service: Personal: Theatre
Culture: Food
Public: Ecology: Accounting

Dun and dun.

Be like when they have a dress code at a restaurant and offer you a jacket to hide your social status. Be like, "Sorry sir, this is for birds only, please don this appropriate bird attire."

I've had that happen, pretty humiliating. The jacket not the bird costume.

You could do a poor man's ABCfSatBF by having a bird image on the other side of a wall with a little hole for them to stick their head through into the feeder, like those plywood walls they have at seaside attractions.

And have a sign that says "Nobody here but us birds. Tweet tweet!"
