Anatomically Correct Campus   (+12, -1)  [vote for, against]
The Hip Bone Street is connected to the Leg Bone Avenue

Doctors face notoriously difficult "fact" exams. Build anatomically correct campuses so that these important facts are reinforced during the long years of medical schools.

In addition to the obvious medical benefits, this could also create a new kind of hierarchical strata within the medical community. Perhaps freshmen live in the colon while those near graduation live in the cranium.

Or better yet, specialists reside in their chosen area of expertise.

And everyone will allways know where and how to find a party.

You gotst to love the idea!.
BTW, there is a road near me called Overy Street. I always wondered, even though it is misspelt, if there could be a 'Vas Deferens Boulevard' next door.+

CORRECTION: it is Overy Street. (Linky!)
-- gnomethang, Mar 11 2004

is it an idea though?

medical students always know where the party is..

yes they do! take my word for it...
-- po, Mar 11 2004

Yes, but even visitors will know in this campus.

And I think the true educational possibilities are endless.
-- theircompetitor, Mar 11 2004

we don't want the visitors!
-- po, Mar 11 2004

aw, don't be mean, now

Yeah, come on round. I live at 1057984652 Small Intestine Avenue.

Don't make depressive people live in the appendix.
-- squeak, Mar 12 2004

hmm, maybe you put people on the verge of being thrown out into the appendix.

Shape up, Mr., or you'll be be part of Friday's Appendectomy

There's a cool, ultra-trendy club at the "G-Spot"... most people don't know about it and it is hard to find.
-- phundug, Mar 12 2004

-You can get an unobstructed view from the interconnected observation towers on Cornea court.
-A choice of two comedy clubs located at each Humorous.
-And the large intestinal Pyramid, kitty corner to the Sphinxter.

Visit the Gastric Arcade if you're hungry, just run out from Esophagus Bends and you'll be here, hurry before you're pooped.

Stone statue of a hippopotamus at the hypothalamus.

By the way, is this thing male or female?
-- phundug, Mar 12 2004

Hmmm -- I would think if we have separate campuses, then we'd do it cross-wing, i.e. men in female body, women in male.

If we're co-ed, on the other hand, it may be more challenging.
-- theircompetitor, Mar 12 2004

Or a two-level campus with the man (or woman) on top.
-- phundug, Mar 12 2004

Thought about it. I think the architectural challenges in a "positional" campus might be substantial. It might also skew subsequent behavior:

Do we have to do it this way again? I get it every time I go home.
-- theircompetitor, Mar 12 2004

you're right -- it's cause I had to live at home with mom & dad :)
-- theircompetitor, Mar 13 2004

Should each area of the campus smell appropriately? Just wondering where to put the cafeteria...
-- zigness, Mar 14 2004

Whatever this was supposed to be, it has degenerated into a list of body part puns.
-- waugsqueke, Mar 14 2004

So the party always in the freshman dorm bathroom?

Where would Howard Dean live?
-- RayfordSteele, Mar 14 2004

Wherever H. Dean lives, I'm sure he's under a lot less pressure.
-- dpsyplc, Mar 15 2004

He does suffer from a case of cranial rectosis, though.
-- RayfordSteele, Mar 15 2004

Since Bush and Kerry are both members of the Skull & Bones society, they would be right at home
-- theircompetitor, Mar 15 2004

WTF!Dubbya went to Uni?! Hahahaha. Also love the line about him being imbued with a sense of moral leadership..hahahHAHAHAHAH! Reeeeeel elite club, huh?
-- squeak, Mar 16 2004

I always thought this happened on some sorta grand scale considering our two campuses were the pits. +
