I have a wood burning stove in the raised basement of this house but it's too smelly for the heat to rise to the next floor. To heat the rooms above the most efficient way is with this alcohol/radiator system running on 12 volts, I'm calculating.
Circulating the smelly hot air through a long winding aluminum foil one foot diameter tube isn't efficient. Circulating a large amount of water through aluminum foil fins in each room with some fans may be more efficient but I think the first system is best.-- mensmaximus, Dec 23 2004 (?) Radiators http://doityourself...dboilerradiator.htmI don't know why you would want to use an inflammable liquid with a low boiling point in a heating system . . . [contracts, Dec 23 2004] Aren't you describing a radiator? In many places, the radiators run on steam from the boiler.
