How often do I forget to drink my coffee before it goes cold? DOH! How about a temperature sensing coaster that beeps when when a mug placed on it drops below a certain temperature? Maybe the colder it gets the faster the beeps.

surely the temperature of the mug is pretty tepid even when the liquid is boiling hot so that you can hold it comfortably?
