Rather than a simple Caught/Not-Caught mousetrap, this contraption has a circular base, which begins rotating once the mouse enters it. The mouse has a single chance at catching one of 21 pieces of cheese (each a different type) Once it chooses the piece, it is immediately and automatically thrown out of the better trap. The better (http://www.thefreedictionary.com/better - 'Variant of Bettor') then gets closer to see what number was chosen, and leans on the contraption. BANG! A big sign pops up which reads: "Win Win - If the mouse gets the cheese, you can certainly outsmart it. 2$ for a $500 chance!".

I leave it to the better part of the other half to bake the gruesome details.
