We already have polls, politicians, editorials, celebrities, talking heads and the like generating a myriad opinions on this or that subject.

The idea here, a bit stretched granted given the recent advances in AI is to generate a chat bot based on this, so that for instance you could actually chat with America, or take your pick, and talk some sense into it

That sounds too like the Sirius Cybernetics Corporation's idea of Genuine People Personalities to be comfortable... presumably the AI's "personality" would represent the "consensus" based on the views and attitudes of the general population.

That's not going to work well for Belgium - who's going to want to chat with a paranoid schizophrenic (apart from Vadimir Putin, of course) ?
