A tank, roughly 20 feet deep, on stage with mer-persons flowing any direction they like by turning the head in any direction.

Small motors in the helmet pull the performer in any direction, swooping and flowing gently.

Somewhere lights and holographic displays complete the experience.

[DrCurry] Synchoronized swimming. It's watered down ballet.

Confession: I'm married to a synchronized swimmer. I have to supress my urge to ridicule when the subject comes up in her presence.

[subflower] Maybe you could sell your invention to the producers of "Splash", a Las Vegas topless stage show in a big tank.
