Pull cord power off

This device would be incorporated into power leads for things such as phone chargers (ie, things which won't cause too much trouble if they are unplugged by accident).
The plug has a connector much like the ones found in the pull cords of bathroom light controls. The plug can be put into a power outlet behind a bed/cupboard or in some other hard to reach place and left on - then when it is needed, simply pull the lead to activate it. Pull the lead again when done.

       I designed this with British plugs in mind - the wire generally protrudes from the plug at a perpendicular angle to the prongs in the socket.
