A description:
Many closely spaced, branching tubes form the burner.
The branches have small valves on them.
This burner is fed with propane.
Small screen meshes of different metals are placed in front of the flames.
These are moved by magneticly controled sticks mounted behind the tubes.

Thus the I.L. can control both brightness and colur of the flame. Yes, red blue and green are possibe colors. Yes, it will be noisy.

       You could reduce quite a bit of the noise and get a more flowing picture if it were projected downwards. It would sort of make that ripply cloud effect like fire on the underside of the ceiling. Might even be able to create texture.   

       Good idea [2 fries]. Maybe it could double as a room light!
