The first thing would be to get all the
rubber boots in a family made of a type of
rubbery plastic. if anyone can remind me
what this stuff is called, let me know. all I
know is that it's out there.
Families usually have the problem of
children outgrowing their rubber boots, a
product
so seldom worn that it almost
doesn't make sense to but new ones each
time this happens. also, the boots often
get leaks and are impossible to fix.
The repairation kit would be a teflon pot
and some little moulds that make boots of
different sizes. When you outgrow or
break a boot, melt it down (if necessary,
add some extra rubbery stuff) and pour it
into the mould of the desired size. when it
cools, all the holes are fixed, and it fits
better.

might be a bit of an effort doing it in the home.. perhaps your rubber shoes could be sent to the recycler and you could buy some more (you get a cheap pair with the voucher you get from the recylcer).

...and some molds for making rubber molds. |

Would this device also take empty soda bottles to mold them into cups, plates or knives for the next party? |

I thought this idea was to throw everything in the back of one's car until it is eventually needed again, a thoroughly baked concept in much of the south USA. |
