Recent improvements in electromagnetic spectrum remote sensing
allows us to do all kinds of nifty things like finding previously
undiscovered oil deposits for the mining industry and checking
nitrogen levels for agriculture (see link).
I propose that checking city streets for unusually high
levels of
nitrogen will trigger a heck of a lot of fertiliser false positives, but
might be somehow refined to make the public safer.
Since this is the halfbakery, I propose the refinement needs to be
done by training an army of ninja monkeys to become spectral
analysis experts on their ninja-monkey-union mandated Saturday
afternoons off.
