All-in-One Table

Never do dishes or set the table again

This a table with built-in table settings. Each setting has a depression that serves as a dinner plate, a second one as a salad plate, and a third that is deeper and serves as a "bowl". each place setting has a drawer with a complete set of silverware. Rounding off the setting is a holder for a collapsible cup. When dinner is over, simply press a button and each depression (plate, bowl, etc.) slowly flips over. It important that it slowly turns over because if it flips too fast, food will fly across the table (and may splatter someone). The user then places the silverware back in the drawer and makes certain that the drawer is securely closed. Finally, the user collapses the cup and closes the cup drawer. Finally, a button is pressed and the dishwasher starts! The table would have a heavy duty garbage disposal so that one would not have to scrape any food off plates. The sprayers inside the table would rinse off all the plates, bowls, and cups. The silverware would also be included in the wash cycle. This table would eliminate the need to set, clear, and wash dishes!

Oooh, beware the night of hotwings. I hear chicken bones wreak havock on dispose-alls. I very rarely eat at the table anyway. Its where I place my bills to forget about them.

You get a bun for bringing the Jetsons one-step closer to my home. Though, I would have prefered a laundry-doing robot first. But this is a good start none the less.

This table could wreak havoc with your bills, LBAF. But I agree with your point about the inherent desirability of Jetson-type inventions. This is the 21st century after all and still no sign of personal helicopters! Bun for bringing us one step closer to a future that actually seems like "The Future".

Excellent point, Mr. moggy! I'll call it my Bills-no-more table.

The Simpsons had something like this in a futuristic house on a halloween episode. Yours is better, though.
