Wall mounted/roof mounted powerful scanners (whose rays are not harmful to us) should be installed in the airport. They can alert with beeps and focus a beam of laser light on the suspected target...even as target moves the beam moves...if you are clean no need to worry...just walkin and board the flight
straightaway without any interruption
A cheaper solution (parody)

The efficient idea, as posted, is more than a full-body
scanner
alone; more effective
and more time-saving than the full-body scanners and the
baggage scanners currently used? |

To really have zero interruption for scanning, they should do the security scans at the main counter, where people are standing and waiting on line anyway. Might as well get your bags searched and your body scanned at this point anyway. Then they stamp your passport and you can skip the main security line. |

Put scanners in MacDonalds, the pub, Pret a Manger, Costa coffee etc... |

Landside, fastside, airside. |
